These pilot terms explain how to use Purohit.co.in to find ritual services, Priests and pooja material stores. By using the platform, you agree to follow these terms.

1. The platform

Purohit.co.in provides tools to discover ritual services, send booking requests, coordinate optional material kits and request custom services arranged by the Purohit team. The platform connects customers with independent Priests and stores; a booking request is not confirmed until the relevant Priest or service team confirms it.

2. Accounts and information

Keep your contact details accurate and protect access to your account. You are responsible for the information you submit, including the ceremony location and any details needed for a requested ritual. Share Gotram, Nakshatra or other personal details only when they are needed for the service.

3. Bookings and service providers

Check the service description, date, inclusions, materials, full price and any special arrangements before you send a request. Priests and stores are responsible for accepting and fulfilling their assigned services. The Purohit team may review partner accounts and coordinate matching or customer-care arrangements.

4. Prices and payments

The price, currency and applicable tax shown for a service are the estimate or amount presented for that market. A specific offer may have separate terms shown before confirmation. During the current pilot, payments, refunds, subscriptions, store rentals and partner settlements may be represented as test records; no real money is charged or transferred by those records.

5. Location and privacy

You may choose whether to share an approximate location for nearby matching and aggregated service-area reporting. Public Priest and store listings may show an approximate service location.

When booking an in-person service, you may select a ceremony pin and consent to share that exact pin with the Priest and Store assigned to that booking. The assigned Priest and Store can see only the journey relevant to their service. Live GPS sharing starts only when that provider taps the journey or delivery button. Priest tracking stops at arrival or when the service begins; kit tracking stops when the Store marks delivery. The app keeps only the latest shared point for the active journey and removes the live point when tracking ends or becomes stale.

Live updates require location permission, network access and the app to remain active. A browser or phone may pause updates when the app is closed or in the background; the last update time will be shown. Map distance is approximate and is not a guaranteed arrival time. Do not use another person's contact or location information without permission.

6. Respectful use and account review

Use the platform lawfully and respectfully. Do not submit false requests, interfere with another person's account, or misuse contact or ritual information. Purohit may review, pause or restrict a partner listing or account when needed to protect users or investigate a reported issue.

7. Changes and applicable rights

Service availability, features and these terms may change as the pilot develops. Updated terms will be posted on this page. Nothing here removes consumer rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
